Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from Queen's University. Academic interests: classical wave mechanics, quantum mechanics, special relativity, lasers. 4th year design project solved for active sound dampening in air vents.
Nick and his Queen's, 2nd year 4-person engineering team won an engineering design competition within Canada and went on to represent Canada in the international design competition at CDIO, at the Technical University of Denmark http://www.cdio.org/.
Nick paid off student loans selling door-to-door at Canadian Property Stars, a Canadian home maintenance company. Within 2 days, he was the top door-to-door salesman of the London location and within 30 days, he was the top salesman in Canada (measured by winning "All Star Competitions" hosted by Ben, CEO of Canadian Property Stars).
Nick built an online tutoring business while at Queen's and wrote software that helped other tutors and Private Schools do online tutoring (helped with billing, lead gen, other ops tasks).
Nick teamed up with Derek Szeto in 2014 for mentorship and he help Derek build out sales process for Wirkn. He worked with sales and engineering team to help develop initial feature set and find product-market-fit.
He then helped another one of Derek's portfolio companies, AdvisorStream. He took AdvisorStream from $0-$1M ARR in 12 months, made it cash-flow-positive and adding 8 figures to the equity value.
He then helped Copilot Advisor solve for product-market-fit (conception to first sales) with less than $1m in the bank. Within 10 months, they were at $1m arr. They are now soaring and equity value > $20m and cash-flow-positive.
He then built Salesprocess.io and bootstrapped from $0 to $13m in 2.5 years and helped over 1500 entrepreneurs.
He played competitive sports (aaa hockey as a kid), likes winning and is 29 yo.
Derek has been an Advisor to Salesprocess.io since 2014, and was the first customer. Currently, he is the Co-Founder and CEO of Butter, an RBC Ventures company. Previously, Derek was the Founder and CEO of Wirkn. Prior to Wirkn, Derek was the Founder and CEO of RedFlagDeals.com, which was acquired by the Yellow Page Group in 2008. Derek holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University.
Marco joined Salesprocess.io in 2019. Currently, alongside his role at Salesprocess.io, Prior to joining Salesprocess.io, Marco Founded CARV’M Training, a multi-award-winning private wellness club established in 2018, where he built the business from scratch to $936k ARR in 18 months. Prior to CARV’M Training, Marco worked as a District Sales Manager for nine commercial fitness clubs across Southern Ontario, where he led a sales team specializing in high-ticket personal training offers. Marco holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from McMaster University.
Mitch joined Salesprocess.io in 2019. Previously, Mitch worked at Forest Hill Yorkville, a real estate brokerage firm, where he sold over $5M of luxury residential real estate in his first year. Prior to that, Mitch worked as an engineer at UGE, where he helped design and develop over 300 MW of solar projects. Mitch also founded a successful contracting business called Ontario College Contractors, where he and his team specialized in residential construction projects.
Justin joined Salesprocess.io in 2020. Prior to joining, Justin worked as a management consultant at PwC Australia, where he developed an international payments app for Australia’s top bank, going from ideation to commercialization in 12 weeks while meeting the exhaustive compliance requirements typical of large banks. Justin holds an Engineering Physics Degree from Queen’s University, completing a thesis where he solved the quantum restrictions inherent to organic injection lasers. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Business from the Stephen J.R. Smith School of Business.
