Case Study 1: Wirkn.com raised approx. $400k and needed a sales funnel. I cold called mall managers and built out a cold-calling team that generated opportunities at some of the largest property development companies and restuarant chains in Canada. The Wirkn team was able to develop their solution further and close enterprise deals.

Case Study 2: The founder of a content marketing curation platform (now part of Broadridge's marketing suite) for finance professions had validated his product, had domain expertise and had just raised $1.1M in seed financing to scale sales and marketing. They had a marketing hire, and an enterprise salesperson, however, they didn't yet have a repeatable, predictable, and profitable direct channel to assist in developing enterprise opportunities.
We wrote the marketing for the direct channel, built the funnel, ran the campaign in parallel to their enterprise campaign, validated the message with outbound prospecting, ran paid traffic, validated the sales process and script, then hired a few team members to book appointments and close over the phone. Within 2 weeks, the company was closing sales using the system I set up for them. In 12 months, they grew the direct channel to $1M ARR. The developing enterprise conversations were something along the lines of "Well, we have a few advisors already using the solution. They seem to like it. How about we roll out to more advisors?"
They raised a series A round, scaled up further, ramped revenue and became profitable, and eventually sold to Broadridge in 2021.2017: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Case Study 3: Cassia Research, now CoPilot Advisor, was a company founded by Henry Bee and Jesse Chen.
It was backed by seed financing, and was focusing on a model and algo that advisors could use to manage their backend operations. The product had potential and the team was experienced.
We led with the initial obvious benefit of ~ "Helping advisors manage backend..." and realized that advisors (the majority of them) wanted the product as more as a marketing solution, something they could use to generate new business.
We splintered out one of the features of the initial product and positioned it as a marketing solution, saw some success, then rebuilt the solution with learnings. I wrote a new sales letter and pushed it out to a warm audience. It immediately made sales. I adjusted the marketing message and created a video sales letter/training video that helped advisors generate cold leads using the LinkedIn platform. It was a hit and the advisors signed up for the product that helped automate the process described in the video training. Within 10 months, the company grew to $1M in ARR using a sales team. I helped create the investment thesis, which required validation of cold-metrics (CPM, CPL, CAC, LTV). They went on to raise $5M at approx. $80M. They went on to sell into the enterpirse.
